A community pharmacy deals directly with people in that certain local area. It has many responsibilities which includes compounding, counseling, checking and dispensing of prescription drugs to the patients with care, accuracy, and legality. It is one of the important branch of the pharmacy profession and involves a registered pharmacist with the proper education, skills and competence to deliver the professional level service to the community.
